Whats wrong with the world?
It's material. The world is inherently flawed due to the fact that it is of a material nature.

"What's wrong with the world?"
Perception. The world is full of problems but it is also full of solutions.

Yeah, it is all wrong in our heads No, not what you think..it is that most people use the (unearthly) 'spirit' the wrong way 'round, to accomodate their material power. The misuse of our given intelligent consciousnes. That's all and that's all what it is all about

Anyone else feel hopeless?
And what exactly are you doing any differently than everyone else?
If you have a personal computer, chances are you're polluting, consuming and shitting all over our planet more than the vast majority of the human species in other parts of the world.
Not spiteful, that's simply the way it is.
I don't think we could ever fix the earth anyway. The only natural fix is the one that is self-caused; in human terms, this fix would be a Malthusian catastrophe, or the point where natural selection started to reign us back in and allow other forms of life to begin regrowing to areas previously decimated by human inhabitation. Humans, however, are by far the most successful animals yet seen on this planet; we've learned technologies that allow us to lower our Darwinistic threshold, the amount that survival of the fittest comes into play, to the point that in the modern day we've been to practically every area on the earth's surface, created farming techniques adequate enough to make three-fourths of the population overweight in some countries, and have other massive accomplishments.
Unfortunately, we may damage the earth and ourselves in the process, but what do you expect? Justification, morals, religion, you can clearly see all of it is complete bullshit because our survival habits are the same as any other virus on this planet.

You want to be a virus ? I think, there is one explict thing that makes us different from all other species. I speak of intelligent consciousness, which can be used by its owner in that way, what his will can demand. It exists for us to save the planet and the humans. If people act like primitive devastating headless animals in regard of this, they loose all respect in my eyes and should be shot into space to find their own planet to devastate.

Cowgold is correct.
It is your perception that is flawed.
Instead of thinking what is wrong with the world, think "how can I change what I see wrong with the world?".

I don't think so. Listen to your inspiration, it will reveal the truth behind your perceptions, if you are 'balanced' enough. Then ask "what can I do to change the world to a better place (for our children)."

Hmm..perhaps I would start somewhere something with property-laws first, to reduce the stress of greed and egocentrism somehow. Including protection for wilderness and plurality. Perhaps some compensation for our refused right of hunting, fishing, free fruit-picking and building houses, called self-support, in the more or less populated areas. Just to make some opposite course to the stressing ego-supporting and anti-social trend of neo capitalizm in its purest inhuman forms, raging hard over our planet in faster and heavier waves, to drag everyones' souls and spirits away from his and every humans own destination, leaving them as misused and willless pupetts. (Sorry, had a bad day today )

I would support a more native like view of the earth. Including usage-rights, but with levels and priorities, that would give land for free, for example, to homeless.
The basic life-supporting needs should be available to everybody, including the protection of the whole planet and its life supporting/bearing system, possibly practionable with modern science, technic and knowledge.

What people forget is that it is life itself that causes this.
We are natural, we came from nature (as far as we know).
Life is a virus/parasite, all creatures do horrible things.
We may blow this whole planet to smitherines but life will prevail.
It does its job - which is to survive, whatever the cost.
If there is nothing more to this notion - then what we do is trivial. Just an irrelevant speck on the history of time, so make the most of it - have fun and be as happy as you can.
