that pcture is small, but it looks like your pod is way too big. you dont need/want anything bigger than a 3-liter bottle around it. youre going to have a hard time with RH i think.

So do you have any saturated perlite in there? I can't tell, the pictures are kinda small. If you don't, I'm going to be inclined to agree with omnicracker. That's a mighty large container to keep the humidity high in without the use of perlite.

you posted this up and when we give feedback you say dont worry... have you used this set-up befoer with success?
on closer inspection, i like the idea of putting he cake o the lid of an upside-down container. what happens when the mushrooms start to grow out sideways and the cake with the mushrooms is wider than the lid hole? would you just rip it out?
3-liter bottle. it works great.

I think it will work. Even though your pictures are smaller than a frogs dick, I can see some condensation on the walls and because of the large size CO2 won't build up as fast.
But just to get the terminology correct, that's not a Poor Man's Pod.

i have my doubts also. what is the tube in the bottom? how do you get the cake in there? how do you get the cake out? how are you suppose to pick the mushies? how do you keep it humid?? what about fresh air exchange??? how do you take care of it???
