Colonization

This the first time I ve tryed this, are the jars fully colonized when they are totaly white or will there be some spots where the media is pressed against the glass. Please help Its been 10 to 12 days, There fuzzy white every where except where the media is aganst the glass. in a couple spots. PLEASE HELP BUD...........................
