I've had blue balls once. I didn't get them from Schultz though.

They're nutrient balls. On the side of the bags they give a nutrient read out and thats where the majority of the nutes come from. As far as "is this okay for growing shrooms in?" I have no clue.....new at shrooming, experienced at cannabis.

Well too late cause i already cased with this kind..and guys i was wonmdering..what if i used a 1/2 inch casing layer..which i did..is this ok? as lonmg as i let it colon ize to the right amount?the reason iam asking such a dumb question is because i never used a thick casing layer...iam trying new things out cause ive had bad luck with thin ones so iam trying a little thicker..i got almost an inch...but as long as i let the myc come up evenly i dont see a problem

The fert balls will be "hot" and may pose a problem for any myc immediately around them. You should know soon though.

Lightly patch those spots and put directly into the FC. You can "take a peek" with a clean fork and verify that the myc is just below the surface in several other areas if not then definitely incubate another day or two. This is the time to make sure that casing layer is at near saturation or close.

Yep. Tomorrow you'll want to initiate all fruiting parameters at the same time then have patience. Keep lightly misting until the myc is popping up uniformly. GL

Those areas would have been exposed prematurely and pins will develop in those areas first, these early volunteers will zap the first real flushes energy holding them off until they are harvested wasting much of your time (week or so).
