Sounds good to me. The PmP may provide a RH a little high for casings but that never stopped mushrooms from growing.

What supplies do you have available? Horse poo? Straw?
I would wait until the cake reaches 100% colonization...then I would put 1/2 inch of 50%peat/50%verm at the bottom of a clean baking pan...crumble your cake evenly over the top so that there is about 3/4 inch over everything, then put 1/4-1/2 inch of 50%peat/50%verm on top of that... cover with aluminum foil and allow the mycelium to recover at about 80 degrees for three days... Open it up, patch up any mycelium breaking through the top...cover and wait another 12 hours or so... Put the casing in your fruiting chamber and go from there.

It's not really spawn if you aren't spawning it to anything, it's just brf substrate. You might want to do everything above, but spawn it to something as well.

straw that doesnt have much seed is used boil straw in large pot drain spread a fluffy four inch layer of straw add a layer of spawn staw repeat many times dont think it matters let it colonize oncle colonized add half inch layer of peat/vemiculite let colonize
i know with straw contaminants can be a problem i dont have access to a pressure cooker but i planned to cook the shit out of the straw in a big lobster pot whatdya think

You need something to compensate for the peat's acidity in your casing layer (ie, crushed oyster shell, calcium carbonate, aglime, etc.)

Yea, go to Home Depot and look for Jiffy Mix...it works perfectly. It's a mix of verm and peat with lime added to neutralize the PH

If your uncle has horses, then their poo should be your main goal, not the straw. Straight straw is really a one flush wonder, and it doesn't offer the potency of poo shrooms. It's a good supplement for poo though, as it'll make good channels for the mycelial networks to colonize.

With the jiffy mix i just dunk the cakes then roll them in the jiffy mix
should i mist the jiffy mix after its on the cake or let the cake supply the moisture to the casing
and when dunking is is distilled water to use or is it natural spring water
I will read up on the horse poo thank you I didnt' know that about straw i was just impressed with the yields one guy got 2-4 wet pounds in on 30 gallon container

Any bottle water will be fine for dunking. I imagine spring water might have more minerals and whatnot, but I'm not sure if that'd really benefit the cake any. When rolling, Magash advises to lightly mist the stuff you're rolling in, in your case jiffy mix, then to roll the cake in it while the cake is still wet, fresh from the dunk. No further misting required at that point.

Should the jiffy mix be pasteurized

You really dont need to dunk before the first flush,IME. And yes. It should be pasteurised.
