the need to trip...
    #5302737 - 02/15/06 11:11 AM (17 years, 11 months ago)

I don't want to sound like some druggy but, am I the only one here that thinks the need to trip is necessary to stay sane in this crazy world? With all this crap going on with the drug war and war in general I need to just escape once in a while...

What exactly are you having to escape from? How has the drug war, or the war in general, affected you?

Not trying to be an ass, I'm genuinely curious.

A couple of my friends are shipped off to Iraq. I do understand it was their choice to join the military. Just worried about 'what might happen' when they are there.

Couple of days ago I was pulled over for speeding(my fault) had a roach in my ash tray, which I forgot to clean out. I normally don't smoke and drive cause of the paranoia of what if I get pulled over. Anyways that gave the pigs the right to search my car and found a bag of pot so I have a court sentence coming up and I hope I get a slap on the wrist. Also, overgrow.com was taken down which pisses me off. It was a great website with tunnssss of useful information.

I know what you mean, kinda. For me, if I go for awhile (2 months or more) without tripping, I feel the need to trip and "reset" myself from pessimism, which tends to creep up cause so many people are pessimists.

God bless your friends.

And stop doing drugs and driving. That is ignorant, careless, and dangerous to every person/family on the road.

That said, trip away good sir.

That is also part of my escape. I leave this place(escape) so to speak and hopefully obtain useful knowlege from my trip.

I trip sometimes to get my life back in order. To get a new persective on things.
One must loose all sense of reality to understand reality itself.

Meh, some people can do it.. some can't. I don't, because I get super paranoid, but it isn't like driving drunk

People who trip and drive need to be IV'd with a gram of DMT then shot in the face.
