any1 remember that google search where u can pull up any security camera in europe connected to the web? see any place on earth at any time almost. go any where. pictures and movies of everything. is there anything really left to see? Are we turning to exploring things other than the physical?
like columbus back in 1492 or balboa around the cape
some fueled by greed some to find places most people have not been and Explore

exploring is still fun even if other people have already seen it. you can explore new york for instance, despite the fact that its full of people and there are many maps and pictures of it.

yea its still fun but its alot harder to do today.

to remain on topic, there are still plenty of places left unexplored. In fact, lots of people still die just "visting" the Galapagos islands, where the basic theory of evolution came about not too long ago.

Actually, most of the planet has NOT been explored. The majority of land is under the ocean and only a tiny fraction of the ocean has been explored.

we got the hubble fospher, im content until we get some warp drive shipz
yah, im gonna have to extrapolate and say theres just water and fish down there though
maybe that is the lure of marine biology

Thank you captain obvious Seuss, but man cant go walking around the bottom of the ocean now can he? Exploring is Experiancing something, not just making a map, and even in a sub at the bottom your not reallly part of it. Your cut off from it, that is not exploring. peace

Did I say anything about walking on the bottom of the ocean. Expand in to three dimensions, please. The ocean is considered the last great unexplored frontier on the planet. We know less about what is in the ocean than we do about the space around our planet.
