Transferring fruiting beds to another place?
    #5299244 - 02/14/06 01:34 PM (17 years, 11 months ago)

I've been finding cubensis all over the place lately but just not near my house and I'm getting sick of having to take a bus to my patch early in the morning...
So this got me an idea that I'm not too sure about yet and need you're guy s's help and opinion to make it work for me.

I'm thinking of collecting mushrooms along with the patty and dirt and hay of that it grew in. Then making spore prints with the collected mushrooms. After putting the spores in a sterilized cup with sterilized water, adding it to the patties in a bag and mixing up real good. Going to a spot near my house, making a little hole, dumping all the shit with spores in it into that hole, spreading it so that its about 2 inches off the ground, then putting a little hay( or dried grass) on top of the patties and watering it. In a couple of weeks there should be a new patch which I can always add new patty's to every 3rd to 4th flush. What do you guys think? Please tell me if this will work and if it doesn't work please tell me how to make it work. Thank you all, Lance

By comparison, it is physically impossible to eat enough marijuana to induce death."

I don't think your plan would work very often.

Try flipping patties until you see one with a good spawn network. Take the whole thing and break it up with some fresh manure. Cover with a tarp or wet hay or something to keep it wet.

It should grow.
