Sorry this is the semi-incorrect forum to post this, but I like it here more I would like to try 2C-I, however, i read that you shouldn't do it if you suffer from hypo/hyperthyroidism. At first I never considered myself to have this, but then my friend mentioned that you can have it if your parents do. My mother takes hypothyroid medicine, and is slightly overweight. I am unsure how severe it is though. This made me wonder, do I have the same thing? I reasearched online and found that I have symptoms of both hypo and hyper. I'm not sure if I have one, and the other is a coincidence or what.. I'd like to know before I do this. PS: I'm 20 yrs old, and im NOT trying to get you to diagnose me. So, that isnt waht this post is about so please dont delete it. Im simply wondering if its LIKELY i have it, or if this could be coincidence (or even if i have it mildly, would 2c-i still be ok).
For hypothyroidism, I have low energy in class, slower speech, dry skin, horrible circulation (my hands are usually cold), and a 'slow thought pattern'. i have a bad memory, and usually i dont think as rapidly as most people. Those are the symptoms I have, however i dont have cold intolerance, pale skin, decreased libido (hahahah!), and i _definitely_ dont have weight gain. I am 6'1" and 160 lbs. I eat huge amounts all the time and never really gain weight, i even work out too. and i eat very fast.
For hyperthyroidism i have a very light weight, very high metabolism, however i DO NOT sleep for only 3 or 4 hours every night. I dont have that much energy, and require about 8 hours of sleep. I also have a 'staring gaze', not any increased bowel movements however nor heat intolerance.
So.. im sorta confused. i dont want to wait over a month to get a blood test and everything, although if i cant figure this out i will because my health is important, it will just make me sad when all ym friends try it

Get a blood test, waiting a month to get the results is better than putting your health at risk.

I would just wait. Medical symptoms are made to be far reaching to apply to many people. Just because you display some or any of the symptoms doesn't have to mean much. The best bet would be to go to a doctor.
Let your friends give you a play by play on it. Belive me, especially with RCs, you might not want to try them first.
