casing and yield?

From what I've gathered; skipping the casing stage on a bulk hpoo grow would result in smaller flushes yet larger fruits. Now would either way still end up with the same overall yield in weight?

Larger fruits? I don't think so. Casings are more productive all the way around and give the fruitbodies adequate water reserves to reach their full potential.

To understand this you must understand fewer fruits competing for nutes the larger the fruitbodies. It has nothing to do with a casing or no casing ie: even a poor pinset with a casing layer will produce larger fruits than a prolific pinset. Understand?

I understand your reasoning hyphae and completely agree with you and I assumed the same. I am asking if an overall flush from a cased bulk grow will compare to an uncased bulk grow? "large an few" or a "numerous smaller"?
sorry I didn't include in my post that i understand no casing = less but larger fruits

From my limited experience, I did one uncased (just wanted to see) and was not happy with it, it did not last as long as the other identical ones with a top layer in later flushes.
I will never do that again, unless it was that or nothing.
