Post Your Grow Setup!

I'm a first-timer and I'm excited to see my grow center evolve and improve. I wanted to share with you the current status of it all and see what everyone else has set up for themselves!
I've got a little half-size closet that looks like this...

Inside is what I call the ShroomRoom:
1 + 2: both have a window on top to let light in 3: The high humidity actually gets to this meter and makes it malfunction! Trials have shown that both FCs never get below 90% RH 4: I have another light just like that one (except black) that is currently missing a bulb. I'll be hooking that one up for the other FC. 5: This is my first time, so I'm still using a modified PF Tek (with casings now). I plan to eventually upgrade to rye once I have money for a pressure cooker. 6a: That's Isopropyl Alcohol, Hydrogen Peroxide, Chlorine/Water spray, and a gal. of distilled water (not visible). 6b: Here we have latex gloves, face masks, and plenty of Lysol. 7: 2 containers for drying. Only one is finished and operational at this point. It works very very well, but is rather small. 8: I got that big, long container which perfectly fits several other smaller containers inside. I put some water in the big one and a water heater to keep it at optimum temperature. The other smaller containers each fit 12 jars very well. There's plenty of room for upgrading and it fits in my compact shroom room wonderfully. 9: I use the heating pad when the room gets cold at night to keep my FCs above 70 degrees. When the incubator is running, the indirect heat usually keeps the FCs and a great temperature and the pad is not necessary.

I'm really outstanded by the setups that some people have. They seem so complicated.
Mine is really simple. At the moment I use jam jars to make PF Tek cakes. I just use normal kitchen utensils (I did have to buy a coffee grinder) and keep the jars in a dark closet in a coffee table thingy I have in my sitting room. My fruiting chamber is a big plastic box simmilar to yours and I use perlite at the bottom and just uncover it and fan a few times a day. This also sits in my sitting room as it is the warmest room in the house, always around 20-24?C.
No heaters, no hygrometres or thermometres and I really don't sterilize much only the boiling of the PF jars, I just make sure everything is really clean with soap and water I've made 10 cakes and no contamination so far and they are all fruiting wonderfully.
Anyway, congrats on your setup, It looks good and probably works a treat. Maybe your next step might be a glovebox?

dude, thats a SICK setup you've got. although, i believe when/if you start to go bigger, then you are going to need more room. the FCs are really nice, but how is that incubator working out?
it seems like the fishtank heater will only spread heat out so far and not reach the ends of that tub. if you upgrade with a PC, get pint or qt jars for your grains (depending on your PC size). then make a heatbomb for your incubator. i hear those work better than the standing water.
plus the standing water is breeding grounds for contam so that's bad in an incubator. i do like the clorine water idea and it seems your awareness of sterility is high.
i assume your using desiccant in those drying chambers. after harvest, try fan drying your shrooms first then put them in the drying chambers. the fan gets a majority of the moisture then the desiccant will take care of the rest.
very nicely layed out my friend. keep up the good work!

it was nice to me while i had it, but i switched to monotubs. they just make ways more sense, as far as stealth and ease are concerned.

This... This is what I dream of. Inspiring. Sorry to hear you've had to downsize. I hope to, one day, be growing on this scale.

I don't consider it that much of a downscale. A couple of nice sized mono tubs could put out just as much, if not more, mushrooms then a bunch of smaller trays with alot less work involved.

definatly not downsizing. just different. i could easily get the same yeilds filling that closet with six 18gallon monotubs
anyway, its no big loss, i built that martha for about $20. just wrap a plastic painters drop cloth around some shelving. hint: shelves like to hang out behind grocery/department/hardware stores after dark. think home depot.

If you use ImageShack.us, there is an option to auto-resize the image you are uploading. Try that.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
Click this link, then scroll down on the right hand side until you get to the "ImageResizer.exe" file. Download that file and you can resize ANY picture with a simple right click of your mouse.
I forget who showed me that, but I'd like to thank them.

I use a simple PmP. I have limited space in my closet so a single tub is perfect.

I believe those are lava rocks and hydroton(or is it geolite?). Either way they're just things to keep humidity up.
::EDIT:: I'm a bit slow, but I had the right idea.
