so im moving in a few weeks and id like to use up a few quarts of LC i have lying around.
i was going to do a few mycobags full of WBS and fill a few monotubs, but i have to skip the hpoo spawning because im short on time.
could i just drop a few nuggets of shredded hpoo into my WBS to give it that boost? i know youre not supposed to sterilize poo but i dont think that it would be a problem in this case.

Nonsense. I sterilize my horse manure all the time in spawn bags. If you only have a few weeks your best bet is waiting. Even if you are able to fruit in that time frame, you'll never get through more than one flush before you have to scrap it. My opinion, wait until you get to your next place.

going grain spawn to past. poo + a casing layer, instead of a mixed bag, should take long enough that you should be close to fruiting by the time you get to your new place. i would see if i could be ready to fruit at the new place instead of your current residence. i did this with a double tub a year ago. it was ready to fruit a couple days after i moved into a new place. i think i remember you having a martha, which woukld be a little more tricky, but still easily done.
wronguy definitely highlighted a major issue in pointing out the flushing. it could take the entire time you still have at your current place just to exhaust your substrate in the fruiting stage alone.
either wait, or try to time it so you fruit right when you get to your new place. no point in doing nothing for a few weeks, delaying end harvest time. right?

i got rid of the martha and im on the monotub wagon these days. i have tubs, more LC than i need to take with me, a bag of WBS (which im not packing), and some poop (which im definatly not packing). i was just going to try and pull one or two more flushes out. i wasnt even really planning on casing. 2 mycobags full of WBS with some hpoo additive, thrown in a monotub once 100%, casing lightly after the first flush. i was going to give my 1-2 flush tubs to some friends before i go, maybe trade for some herbals. ive got to fit everything i own in my '77 accord so i cant take much.
i was mainly concerned about the hpoo in the WBS, but it looks that that wont be an issue.

It works a treat, one thing to watch out for is an increased chance of fermentation due to the addition of hpoo. So lower your incubation temps, a bit. GL Bro
