Polyfill tek question

Im doin the pollyfil/birdseed tek. How long do you soak that birdseed for? And you put tinfoil over the lids in the pc right?

I haven't used birdseed in a while but from what I remember its best to cook it first, simmer it for 45 minutes and then drain
But you can also just put it in the jar and pcook... as per Anno's Tek

Yes, cover the lid with foil
