pressure cooking WBS

after pressure cooking some quart jars of wbs i noticed that some of the wild bird seed expanded and "popped"... is this ok? i figured it might be because the water level is too high and they boiled. any ideas? if needed i could take pics

you're fine, expect some kernels to explode. You dont want more then 15% of your grain looking like that tho.

You had water in the jars? What tek did you follow.
Check out agar's tek. Works well, and easy! Too many popped grains can present a problem.
