Cubase Question, Sorry!

Sorry for being such a noob, haha.
I have a question about cubase.
How do you export it to mp3? Or is there any program that converts from midi to mp3?
I tried a program, but the problem is that when I export to midi in cubase, it doesn't play back on my computer with all the sounds. It all goes back to being a piano sound.
How do I get this to work?
I apologize once again for my ignorance.
Thanks.

Well, you must remember, MIDI contains no sound data, just information on pitch, intensity, note length....
It's quite easy to export: make sure you have all the channels you want playing, and go File--->Export--->Audio Mixdown... then choose from the filetype ".mp3" and there ya go.
don't apologize! You gotta start somewhere, right? there's a few of us around here that use Cubase, so any questions you have, just let us know.

Actually I got that part working, but now I don't know what to choose for output.
Basically, how do I get my project in cubase, which is all made with midi, and I want to have the same sounds as were used in cubase, which were made with VST plugins, and make it into an mp3. How do I do this?
Nevermind I figured it out!
Im done!
Thank you all.

Well how did you do it? In case someone has the same question...
I would have said you need to record your midi controlled VST plugs as audio tracks, mix down to a stereo master track, and then convert that to mp3.
Bias Peak is the best prog for single stereo track mastering and conversions, imo.

Hmm, well I know that the way I did it is probably not the best, but it worked out fine for what I wanted.
What I did is just set my recording on my computer up to record everything that goes through my soundcard, and then played the song in cubase while recording in audacity.
The thing I couldn't figure out how to do is how to record my midi controlled VST plus as audio tracks.
I guess I should learn for the future.
