Oh.. and a guy in my psyc class was walking out late at like 3 am, and he saw a shadow being cast from the streetlight behind him. So he turned around, and there was a ninja standing there, looking him straight in the eye. No lie. Someone else in the class even confirmed it, because apparently some group of students was working on a film at that time, and there was a ninja in the movie. I thought that was interesting and you reminded me of the event.
Damn, i think i woulda shit my self, and took off running if i saw a ninja following me. I'd disapear quicker than David Copperfield. lol

I know, right? What are the friggin odds of turning around at 3 in the morning, and actually seeing a ninja stalking you? I mean.. it's crazy.

That's crazy too. How can they not stock regular canning jars? How are you expected to make homemade jam, or preserve your peaches? Damn walmart..

I've decided to use pond water for 4 of the jars and spring water for the other 8 - we'll see.

it's good to see tat your willing to experiment. let us know what works best for you,k?
....and about wal-mart. the "super wal-mart" by me doesn't carry jars either. i walked the whole length of the football feild sized building like 6 times looking for both jars and verm. I had to go the king soopers for jars, and lows, or home depot for verm. "stupid wal-mart"

I dont have a PC; therefore, I should just used bottled water.
Correct me if I'm wrong please.
No PC use bottle water. Better to grow than contam.
You could always boil the water by itself prior to adding it to your mix. This would kill all the nasties for sure. I always used water from a stream in the past with good results. I never compared different water types though.
