Weird, twisted growing shrooms

Hello everyone, I've been reading the forum for the last few months and finally I'm about to pick the fruits... This is my first "real" growth (I've had another partly successful attempt with a kit before, but this time it's 100% home-grown), everything went smoothly up to the fruiting stage. Here, unfortunately, I see some pretty malformed mushrooms, short and twisted... Pics follow:

My question to you would thus be: what is the cause of this? Something is obviously wrong, but I can't figure what - RH is at about 90%, temperature at 78 F and I fan it twice a day... Could it be due to the light (it receives light most of the day, from both the windows and the artificial lights above)? Or maybe not enough fanning?
The casing layer is the Starnets recipe (10 parts peat to 1 part calcium carbonate & 1 part calcium sulphate). The strain is EQ (or so the print said).
Thank you for any hints, I'd like to not commit the same errors with my second casing which is pinning right now!
Regards, Rastaman

From my limited experience I would say that it has overlay, is to humid, and possibly the mutations were caused by h202 or lysol, etc. The overlay looks apparent do to all of the largre areas of mycelium patches overlaying the surface which means that it was incubating for too long, and or not patched. The condition of the stems tells me that something like lysol or h202 maybe causing it, or simply not enough FAE. I think on average 2 times a day is not enough. Most people recommend fanning 3-6 times a day. Again, I'm a newb, so we'll let someone else chime in to confirm.

IMHO, Lack of fresh air exchange, is one of your major problems.
All else being good. Adequate fresh air exchange should get you fruits, as above.

As regards to the overlay, it is worth mentioning that as the casing was placed in the FC, only two small patches of myc were poking through in one corner, otherwise no myc could be seen. During the first 4-5 days of being inside the FC, with daily misting and fanning, the myc spread all over the surface... So probably too little FAE back then, too?

From yours and Agar's post above I conclude it really is a problem with FAE. However, I'm at a little conundrum here, as I am away from home at least 12h each day, and so far I've been fanning before leaving in the morning and in the evening when I got back. Probably an automated fan is in order, but I'm afraid that would lower the humidity too much... well, guess I'll have to come up with something to improve air exchange.
Thanks for taking time to respond!

Coolmist or coolmist clone for FAE & a timer. Rigged with some ribbed pool hose (doesn't kink) (TrueValue or Ace hardware) Toilet flush simple to rig up & attach to a tub.
