Quick Noob Question.

I had an uncle who delved into the world of shroom growing, and just have decided to get into it myself. I have made a trial liquid culture without anything inside it just to see how it was done, and now want to try out my first spores...only problem is I can't find any way of getting ahold of them. I am trying to grow a species thats potent, yet good for a beginner. Any suggestions on how I could come about any? I live in the lower states (Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana). Thanks in advance for any help, hopefully eventually I too will experience my first trip.

Check out one of our sponsors, they are all great! www.shroomery.org/forums
Ralphstersspores.com is good peoples from what I hear too And the strain does not really matter You will read "a cube is a cube" around here alot. Many recommend Equador for a first grow it seems. But you will not be disappointed as long as you go through a good vendor (IE shroomery sponsor, it REALLY does make a difference in quality of product and in quality of service!)
Oh yea, Good luck!! Check out the FAQ's stuck at the top of the forum. And all of the teks at the top under Mushroom cultivation! (Just click here.

Thanks, I had been asking a few close friends around for any sellers, but it seems the trade is pretty dry in my area. I will check out the Raph store.

Species you want is P. Cubensis. As Jaeger mentioned, check out our sponsors. Strain isn't really that important, just pick a syringe and go.

Mushrooms? (Check out the FAQ's) But to answer your question, after they have been dehydrated, they will last for a very long time. Years if stored airtight.

Seriously read until your eyes bleed There is soooo much info around here, really amazing. Read everything, I can not stress that enough. And follow tek's to the last detail to avoid problems. If you do that you will have great success!
