got Substrate bag that has been sterilized (about 4 - pounds) contains coir, vermiculite, neem powder, SPAWNMATE, straw, processed composted screened manure, and many more food and protein items for your mushrooms.
now can i inject spore's into the bag and will the mycilum grow?

I think it would be better to spawn a colonized substrate to that mixture that you have there. A quart or two of colonized rye, popcorn, or WBS would devour what is in that bag.

when i was field testing for a supplier, they sent me some new compost to to try, that was mixed w/ shredded straw. I tried to see if it would germinate spores as one of my test runs. the spores did germinate on any exposed strands of straw sticking up, but only on the straw. The myc was so slow ( probably from lack of nutes on the straw) that it didnt really do much when it did meet the compsted material.

the same compost, spawned with rye berries took off like you wouldnt believe.

so in answer to your question, yes it is possible for germination, but the time/ yeild loss would be far from worth it
