Searched but couldn't find anything.
Is it possible to grind prepared WBS into a flour using a really nice blender and then PC?

Yes, it's possible. People have attempted this method with success, but why? You would be negating one of the beneficial aspects of PF style cakes ---> the fact that you don't need a PC for sterilization. Any time you move to grains, you definitely need to sterilize your substrate, or it's contam city. Also, WBS is damn near perfect the way it is. I can have a fully colonized quart jar inoculated with a decent MS syringe in a week to ten days. If you grind it up, it would pack tightly, and you could easily triple the time it takes for colonization. It would also be more difficult to nail down your water:flour ratio than it is for straight WBS. In summary, yes it's possible, but you would be adding unnecessary steps, slowing down your grow, and raising your chances for contams by prolonging your colonization times. BTW, there are tons of threads where this question has been asked. Just glance at the "related threads" at the bottom of this page.

News to me. You got a link with this discussion? I don't see how grinding something up changes the fact that it is full of nasties.

you dont need a PC if you grind up grains into a flour. What do you think brown rice is?

You don't need to PC brown rice because it is held to food grade standards. Much less "bad things" whereas WBS is not held to these standards. You will have to PC wbs, or get food grade wbs

Classic. Nothin' like a big bowl of Birdie O's to get you going in the morning. I can see the slogan now, "Stay's crunchy in milk!"
