Help with dream message, please

Lately I've been feeling as though I'm receiving a "call to action" from spirit. I look around and see all that's so wrong with the world, but I'm confused as to what I'm supposed to be doing about it. So last night I prepped myself for dreamtime by drinking mugwort tea before going to bed, and I asked for guidance... basically, "what are my marching orders?" And here was my dream, which left me even more confused than before:
I had just been hired on at a new company that had a reputation for being strange and cult-like. After being given the tour, a woman I instantly despised began telling me what my job would be. It was a ridiculous, useless task that I can't even remember now, but it had something to do with planks of wood. I began to look around at how everything worked in this place and it made no sense whatsoever. I finally refused to do the job, and everyone else gasped because this was considered blasphemous. You dont' question the company! But I did that and went further, pointing out all the flaws I saw, and then I stormed out. End of dream.
So I woke up and thought, WTF? Does this mean I was actually given instructions on what to do to help the world, but I thought I knew better and refused them? Or is calling BS on so-called established authorities and modalities my actual job?
I'd be interested to hear other opinions on this, even though I realize I'm the only one who can say for sure in the end.

seems pretty simple to me.
Cult-like business? That's how society is man, everyone is expected to follow strict working rituals for their entire lives which are often very tedius and impersonal, and you realized it was absurd and said no.
This is blasphemous because to say no to the pressures of society is to, in some sense, destroy society. If no one worked society would collapse. So people very closely guard themselves from the real truth that your job doesn't mean a fuck.... unless you LOVE doing it.
Not to say that you shouldn't make a living, but you know, find what your passion is and go with it, certainly don't conform to the norms.
Last night I dreamed of denouncing wal-mart...... they wanted me to work for 24 straight hours (i don't work for them [or anyone right now]) and i was like hell, no, why ? You're punishing me and my friends for playing music? (we had jammed out to music but it wasn't in wal-mart, but we suddenly found ourselves there for some reason. )
So I went and forced my way into the presidents office and masked myself as someone he didn't recognize and called out how evil his company was..... he admitted though that he knew who I was and that he was scared of me. I told him I wasn't going to hurt him but that I wasn't going to put up with that bullshit. I then tried to "heal" him and this turned him insane (i guess when you heal zombies it kills them in RPG lore, since he was evil ...... ?) so then he was like outside wal-mart babbling around and I gave him his sanity back and told him to be more considerate with his company.

Om Namah Shivaya, I tell you What!

Well, I tend to agree with your assessment, but you can see where the confusion lies (actually being given a "job" in a dream in which you'd asked what your universal "JOB" was supposed to be). But I also don't just want to read this how I want to read it, know what I mean?
But you having a dream about WalMart on the same night is funny. You know, I was in Walmart yesterday, and I just looked around and realized that almost everything that I perceived as "wrong" in this world was represented there. Greed. Materialism. Homogenization of culture leading to blandness. Ignorance. And just downright ugliness.
Funny to think that if you healed some people, they would go insane. I'll bet it could happen.

hmm hehe yeah i didn't even think about that. Especially if you think about it you know, to heal a very materialistic mind would be to show it that much of the things it finds comfort in are completely fake.
But I mean, you asked what your job was, maybe your job was to tell other people the truth about the nature of their slavish existences? To stand up to such injustices. I don't think your dreams will generally give you THAT much info, if you ask about what you're supposed to do in life you'll get glimpses of it, but you won't wake up the next day with all the answers to everything I don't think.
But yeah. The thing I hate most about stores nowadays is that they constantly chime propoganda over their fucking speakers.... I don't go to blockbuster to hear some cunt with a deep aggressive voice describing how great mainstreamed movies are.... A DEEP ENGAGING THRILLER.... fuck you and shut up!
I also went to Wal-Mart yesterday as a matter of fact though.

Hahahah oh how weird. I just came from typing a reply in the indigo post and then read this and it matches your dream.
Seems like you know whats going on. Maybe your marching orders are to just become more vocal about it and take more action. In other words, you have been playing supporting roles and maybe its time for you to take on a leading role in the grand stage of life.

I just read your Indigo post, and wow! You were right that it matches my dream! What are the odds? Of course, now I just need to find out exactly HOW I'm supposed to implement this vocal-ness.
