my question is i also have some pints and i can remove it without breaking it up like i have to with the quarts can i just fruit them like cakes or do i have to case them?

how long can i keep sterilized casing or do i need to make it fresh for every patch will the coco coir start to break down

From what I understand wbs is usually used to spawn to a more nutrient rich sub...such as spawning the wbs to poo.

I'm sure that it'll produce shrooms, but I don't think you would be getting the potency you could from poo. I have only one pf tek batch, and one brf spawn to poo batch, under my belt....so you may want to see what someone who has hands-on wbs experience says.

If I was in your shoes, I'd use try this

I keep pasteurized casing mix around for about a month usually. I like to have the extra on hand for patching and such.

I agree with Banaman. WBS by its self in a cake would probably result in small flushes and weak fruitbodys.

Not to mention it would easily fall apart. IMO Too make a true WBS CAKE you would be best to remove sunflower seeds grind the remaining ones and use it in place of BRF Pf style.

I realized that small one cake caseings can produce miracles. I would find small tupper ware containers and brake up the cak and case it with moist baked verm.

If you have several cakes you can get just as much fruits.
An advantage is if one casing goes bad thats only one cake.
The straight verm is low in nutrients, helping ward of contamns.

The wbs cakes might also dry out quicker. Making for the cake to be spent faster.
