casing shrunk what now

so i cased a quart of wbs in a bread pan and from pins to my harvest of 128g it shrank alot like 1/3" on all sides. should i dunk it its like a big cake now. or fill in the gap with casing mix or just mist and wait to see if there is another flush

It's really up to you. If you dunk the casing you should still fill in the gaps with casing mix after you pour the water out. I would even recommend you use dry vermiculite to fill in the gaps to avoid side pinning conditions.

Agreed! BTW the reason you want to use dry verm is because it will fill the gaps without voids much better than damp verm, once gaps are filled you will want to mist to field capacity of course. This side moisture can often times show some prolific pinning around the edges which is a good thing.
