Can I Pasteurize in my PC?
    #5282812 - 02/09/06 06:14 PM (17 years, 11 months ago)

I want to pasteurize my poo/straw mix in my PC, in 1/2 gal jars.
Is there any reason not to?

Your PC doesn't begin to register any psi until water boils , at 212 degrees F . That already is too hot for pasteurizing . I imagine you could use it , just not as a PC but as a big pot .

My friend now pasturizes poo in an oven bag to avoid the smell. Just increase the time to insure the proper temp gets to the center, no more smelly ass house!
