casing question

I know this has been beat to death but I have been reading all around this site and am uncertain about when to put the casing into the fruiting chamber. This is my first time casing and figured I would ask instead of risking the whole batch. Its been 3 days I looked and noticed 4 areas the size of penny and some barley noticeable areas on the casing, my area is a foil container that is 8" by 8". Should I wait another day or two to fruit or fruit now? I appreciate any help.
On a side note this site is incredible I have gained a great deal ok knowledge from it. Big THANK YOU TO THE POSTERS!!!

Fruit it at first signs of growth, so fruit it now, you dont want to risk overlay. Make sure it has air, humidity, light, and temp drop..

Read my pinning strategy. BTW it has pics which makes it easier to understand Light intensity has a direct affect on pin count FYI.

hyphae I have read your guide, GREAT work!! I gained a lot of insite from it. Ok one more question. I have read up on cold shocking now. Would it be wise to take off the heating pad right before pinning and leave them at room temp which is 64-68 for a day? Or should I go right into pinning?

First of all thank you. I had put it out there to help those new to the hobby and needed direction and a better understanding of the what, why, where, when and how. 64-68F will work just fine as a temp drop which BTW is a pinning trigger, notice I didn't say cold shock because too many people don't quite understand this phrase. Cubies in general pin much more prolifically when all the pinning triggers are used simultaneously, this 10-12 degree drop in temps is considered a cold shock which is not to be confused with fridge dunking BTW. Just as this drop in temps is considered a shock so is the initiation of light and the drop in co2 levels, these are triggers people understanding triggers may help one understand why. GL
