Ok I'm gonna be trying out salvia tonight and I was wondering is a dark room with some Hendrix on the speakers a good idea or should I just forgo the music entirely?

First time i did salvia it was 5x, two hit off a bubbler. I listened to Primus - Year of the Parrot, it was pretty incredible. I guess it depends on your preference, and ur dose

oh I guess thats important stuff for answering my question. We have 10X extract that we'll be using tonight. I'm trying to get a strong experience. Hendrix is pretty much my favorite artist at the moment.

When I get a good hit from Salvia and it sends me to SalviaSpace, I no longer have any clue what's going on in real time. The music playing there is irrelevant.

Have you ever done it before?
The first time was the best for me, few times after weren't nearly as good. One time i took a hit during a DXM trip, there was definitely a complete loss of reality there, that was only 5x.
Hendrix is one of my favorite artists too. Id say listenin to Izabella or Highway Chile during the trip would be beneficial. Or anything off "Are You Experienced?"

Well I was thinking that even if I get propelled into the internal universe of my brain, the music would be a great influence before that happened...It seems to be a preference thing so as with anything, I'll give it a shot and see what happens. listening to music never killed anyone directly.

I think listening to music could just make you more confused and could be annoying. You certainly won't understand the music when your on salvia that's for sure.

Some of the more mellow, ambient music is usually okay, but anything beat-driven is a big no-no for me. I find it to be at least annoying, and at worst terrifying, and that's only if I'm diving shallow into Salvia Space and can still recognize the music's existence.

My first trip was a large hit of 40x out of a bong, with a torch.
It began with a slight grin, leaning back in my chair, grinning...grinning, more leaning back, SLAM -- hit the floor. I "came back" and was in a completely fucked reality. It was incredibly terrifying, and so "real" that it felt like I had been dreaming all my life, and now this was reality. Very fucked up, and anyone who's tried extracts higher than 20x knows what I'm talking about.
Point being, music didn't matter at all. Even on 20x, when I hear people talking, I just hear noise--not really definable sounds. Anything under 20x usually just provides hallucinations and visual distortion, not really a psychological trip, so music is nice for that. But again, you usually get so wrapped up in the visuals the music doesn't matter.
Try some really wierd ambient noise on a 20x trip...It's be interesting... Check out: http://www.entity.be/entity/

Last time I did salvia, and very last time I tripped for good with this, i listened to Tommorow never knows , by the beatles. It became so alien and annoying...So intense! This music was my entire reality, cuz i couldnt grab anything else real, other than me pounded by an elephant.

Personally, when I listen to music while smoking salvia, the beat of the music actually induces a "beating" sensation all over my body. It's more pain than it is pleasure. It all depends on the person. But once you find a song that's right for you, try it again on the next trip. You'll never get tired of it
