I've tried every search term i could think of. One post made reference to it (I think it began with B), and a subsequent post made reference to 2 more by the same director. These were more documentaries/image series without dialogue or monologue i think. They appear to be quite well known and i'd googled them previosuly but can't remember enough info to even get a first handle. Any ideas?

I think you might mean Koyaanisqatsi, Powaqqatsi & Naqoyqatsi

id have to go w/ baraka as well, knowing that many people here are fans of the movie.
if your not in the right mood this movie can be overwhelmingly boring.

I saw Koyaanisqatsi before I had ever tripped, (maybe before i'd even smoked) and found it boring at the time.
I'm a film major, watched it in class... Was definetly not in the right mood, but it was some what interesting. I could see it as a great trip movie though.

that's really weird as soon as I saw the title of this thread I thought of Baraka.
