SPORED OUT

If I had just dropped a 100++ million sperm cells
I would wipe the sweat out of my eyes. Give her one of those long lingering kisses, smoke a bowl & relax.
Instead, these caps "having done their spore laying duty" Are off to the dehydrator. Then, will face the final sacrifice (ingestion).

I did not know growing was so sexual
Good thing to let the spores 'sow their oats' then the other way

"If I were to isolate/cloned mycelium and fruited it with that special mycelium, would those spores be somewhat special?... I mean like better than the average multispores dropped from say a non isolated/cloned fungus?" - George W.
thats a weird thing to ask in a thread about shooting sperm spores on your girlfriend's dome... wait. what?

Spore genetics are a funny thing. A fair size healthy P. Cubensis cap spews out about 100 million spores. Those, carry all sorts of variants.
The strain is Dancing Tigers, from Southern China. They sort of look like Lipa Yai, GT, Yangoon, B+, Amz Mix.
This turkey pan full of caps was started from a rhizo isolate off agar, to LC, to WBS/RYE, to compost substrate, cased 50/50.
It is an aggressive stain, not prone to contaminates (under good conditions), a prolific fruiter, with large fruits (with optimal substrate, depth & conditions).
I neglected to take photo's of this tray. (was severing caps - before I thought about it )
But, here is a picture of the very small first tray fruiting out. (small shallow trays colonize quicker)
The second tray, had noticeably larger fruits. (larger tray & deeper substrate)
