White Puffy Spots on Cakes - Is this normal? (updated)

I updated with more pics/questions, check the 2nd page
I'm using B+ Strain in a MycoMonsters grow kit. Already passed the colonization stage, I've got my cakes in the rubbermaid container with perlite, etc.
I've read I should spray distilled water on the inside sides of the rubbermaid container to add humidity, and that I have to do this 3-4 times a day, along with fanning.
Well, there's been condensation on the sides since the initial spray, i haven't had to add any more water. And now the cakes have small puffy white growth on them, similar to a tiny tiny marshmallow or something.
Is this normal? Is there too much humidity? Is it mold? Have i failed?

Thats a very good sign. That's hyphal knotting and means you'll be pinning very soon.
Good luck.

Looks really good, man - License to Chill is right...I'd guess that you should start seeing pins between 12 and 24 hours from whenever that pic was taken.

Looks pretty good!
You may be experiencing some mycelial overgrowth that can lead to overlay (dead myc over live myc) so experiment a little bit with your hudifying schedule. You will definitely be in pin-city in the next 48 hrs. Enjoy.

Its fine. My first time I used the same kit, and here are pics....
Before...
 A few days later...
 A few more days...
 And a little longer...

In other words, your doing great.Just keep up the misting and fanning, and youll be fine.

If my double end casing you mean theres verm on top and bottom of the cakes, then yeah. And yeah, I made a mess out of it. It won't affect anything, will it?

The cakes are fruiting real well, so well that I can't tell which mushrooms are aborts, or if they are going to grow into bigger shrooms.
And when exactly do I harvest, is it when the caps tear away from the stem and turn into actual caps?
Here's some pictures, any input/advice/comments would be appreciated.

You've got several options on when to harvest. Some people like to harvest right as the majority of mushies are about to tear the veil. Some people like to get them once they started tearing the veil. And others like to let them mature a bit and get them a little while after opening.

I'm not really sure i understand what the veil is. Some of them look a little different/lighter (the caps at least) than others. How do i know when the veil tears, is it when the cap breaks away and starts to fold out like a mushroom?

Yeah. As the cap starts to spread, there will be a membrane of tissue still attached from the edge of the cap to the stem - this is the veil. You'll see it in a day or so as the mushies mature.
