Friend supposedly went to the hospital on shrooms

Weird story, a FOAF gave shrooms to this dude and hadnt heard from him for about a week. Then he tells me the dude tripped with his friend, and his friend started having these stomache pains and started freaking out. Then his brother took him home, tried to calm him down a bit, but I guess in the elevating fiasco he decided to take him to a hospital. They said that the shrooms were thought to be dry completely, but some moistened back up and turned more blue than usual. They also ate them on top of a pizza as well, which I thought was pretty gross. When he heard from the dude again, he said that he was completely fine, but for some reason had to stay the night at the hospital and drink charcoal(Which probably did absolutely nothing) U think it was the shrooms or the pizza? Either way I think this kid is pretty dumb for goin to the hospital, prolly got a 1000$ bill for nothing too big.

what is probably was was that the shrooms were not completely dry, usually they're more potant wet so perhaps he just had a a way larger doasage then he thought and just freaked out. ALso if the shrooms were not completely dry, then there's a very good chance that it was dieing so the shroom itself could have just been bad period.

What? The shroom was dying? I don't know what you mean. Sometimes shrooms cause nausea, and this can sometimes seem worse than it really is because you're tripping. He probably just panicked.

Mushrooms can cause stomach cramps and nausea. He probably felt like he was going to throw up, paniced, and went to the hospital for no real good reason.
People do stupid stuff like that all the time, regardless of substance.
ie: xmas party, some guy at a party drank too much, started to throw up, he simply drank too much. He started to demand that we take him to the hospital, and then started to get violent when we wouldnt - so, some people eventually took him (he was convinced he had alch poisioning, but was fully upright, walking, talking, etc) - they just pumped him full of gravol and sent him back home.
moral of the story: when intoxicated, people can often think that their condition is worse than it actually is.

When I was in high school a friend of mine (small guy about 120 pounds) ate a quarter of shrooms. Freaked out. Friends thought he ODed and took him to the hospital. They pumped his stomach.

There's no such word as dieing.

i thought i was dying on alcohol once, but i was semi-blacking out, peoples faces fading in and out and whatnot.
i didn't demand to be taken to a hospital but i tried to walk out of the place for some reason, without transportation and no where to go and in a roughish neighborhood.
oh and yes this was a horrible experience despite the nonchalant story-telling.
