The first track I'm making where I don't use Reason anymore and only Cubase
only 1:31 minutes so far and I'm happy with it. enjoy!

Hardware is the way to go (backwards)!!
I'm not a fan of Reason et al, even though you can get some stunning results with soft synths, soft samplers and soft studios, you cannot beat the feeling of twiddling real envelope knobs and filters!
Having said that though you do some good stuff Stefan.

thanks for the comments
Hardware is also the most expensive way to go unfortunately and it takes a lot more space than just a computer that has all the software

I really like your layers of percussion, though I have an idea if you like: my ears want to hear a tease of a unified backbeat, then go back into the unique thing you've already got---just in and out real quick. I think that'd sound really cool and make your existing part a little easier to groove to.
Overall it's pretty cool-- I hope you keep working on it, I'd like to hear where it ends up.

unified backbeat
I can guess what you mean, but I'm not really sure so maybe you could explain it a little more? Do you mean some 'main' beat that's under everything all the time?
