I understand completely. Insomnia is very common with weed withdrawals. About the only advice I can give you is it'll get better the longer you go. Stick with the plan, and good luck!

Man, I know how it feels. Although it only lasted a week or 2 with me . Have you tried OTC sleep aids? Melatonin and some anti-histamines cane work well in some cases.

how much do you want for the volcano
Yah man, i feel you, its a psychological thing. Once you get through two or three nights its pretty much over. Its so hard those first few days, but each day gets easier if you dont smoke. Plus, when and if you come back your first smoke will just floor you. Good luck man, its all in your head, going without weed is like going without a beer man

Yeah, dont give up. In a week or so you should be sleeping like a baby again. It's good to clean out your system from time to time.

It is normal to have sleeping problems after stopping heavy use. I went through it ages ago when I stopped smoking, after using it every day for years. The insomnia goes away in time, but I was always a hyper energetic type person, so I always get some kind of natural insomnia either way.

Dude, you need to invest in some relaxation tapes/cd's whatever - I used to have an Amazon rainforest one with stereo thunderstorms and lightning, rain, monkey and bird calls, and stuff all going on, plus subliminals - I swear, I was ALWAYS asleep long before the end of side one (it was a tape played on my Walkman, I'm sure you could now probably get MP3 for your player).
It works - in fact, even though I don't really suffer from inability to sleep, I may invest in some 'cos I always used to sleep really well with that!
