What podcasts do you listen too?
Give me some XML's
I like the podcast NASA puts out. The narrator is a bit lispy, but the information and learning experience is fantathtic.
I want to get more to help fill the viod of horseshit radio while I'm in the car.

Am I right in thinking that a podcast is just a streaming audio feed with RSS features to let you know when the next one is ready?
Is there something special that makes it a "podcast" instead of just streaming audio?

It's a downloadable audio file, be it music or talk radio or whatever, that you download and upload to your mp3 player
it's not streaming
you can even get books read to you

Psychedelic Salon has some great podcasts, lectures by Alex Grey and the like.

I haven't been able to find any that I'm really into. So far, I've subscribed to This Week in Tech, Ebert and Roeper and various Lost podcasts. Also, Rolling Stone was putting up some excellent stuff - like very long interviews with Bono and John Lennon - but I've only found it through itunes, which I can't install these days. I'm guessing Apple's worked out deals with certain people to keep stuff exclusive.
I'm still looking for a good way to search for podcasts. Can anyone recommend an engine?
