ok so.. i have a martha set up.. and i have a pmp in the bottom that stays at 95%+ rh...
i have two cakes that just got birthed and havent knotted yet..
and i have two cakes that are fruiting.. they have been pinning for 3 days.
my question is.. is the rh to keep the cake from drying out? or is it to induce pinning... if the shrooms are a few days from being harvested, would it be best to keep them in my pmp at high rh? or would it be better to keep them up in my martha which has lower rh but better FAE yet still at 85-89%rh
what do you guys think?
anyone have experience with cakes fruiting in a martha?

I would use a pmp and just fan more offten. I think that higher rh is needed for cakes. I mean it easier to make FAE than it is to make RH.

89% seems a bit low for pinning to me, but I have no experience with "martha's closets".

my bad, that's me not paying attention.
In that case, the RH should be OK for casings, a little low for your cakes, but probably within parameters.

The shrooms have a possiblity of drying out if you dont fruit them at a higher rh% when doing cakes.
