Having mad probs with my setup. I have a very large setup. about 6 ft w X 6ft l X 4 ft H. Ultra sonic fogger, piped in with pvc. I have 2 shelves in my chamber.with apox. 32 sq ft of grow room. I have got a wicked culture happening and it is cased proper, however i can not get any mushes to pin, the chamber stays at 90% humidity, and i have enviro controls for air exchange and everything,,,,,....... I live in Canada it is -25c with the wind chill . i tried to cold shock,,,, NO dice....... I cultured at 80f and fruit at 70f ??noting I am growing Amazonian ? I case with vermiculite? and have a light sys.? now i think i have to start again, because of over culture, any tips for next time. This is getting expensive??

I have been keeping my humidity at 95% - 100% while pinning, also I do 20/4 lights on light off, I have been getting luck doing this. Also I am starring at some cakes of mine that aren't pinning, Thats because I wasn't aware of how important it is to have a good ph value for the casing. Also I'd keep your temps at around 72- 73 degrees. Don't can all ur stuff, try adding alittle bit more of a casing layer, good luck!

You did enough of a temp drop for them to pin either way. Cold shocking is not a good idea no matter what (do the research on it) but that temp drop was enough to initiate pinning. In fact, the cold shock probably delayed them way further especially if you did it after having trouble pinning, as it was likely very close the first time.
How long have you had them in the chamber? Sometimes they can take up to a few weeks. Remember that 76F is the optimal growth temp for fruiting, so yours will always naturally be a bit slower.
The light isn't that vital at all. What IS important though is proper air and gas exchange. If you do not have a dual chambered air pump/bubblewand setup, you need to be exchanging that air constantly. I'm guessing this is what your problem is. Remember that ultrasonics do not provide air exchange. Either a dual outlet air pump at a minimum, or a cool mist humidifier are your best bet; either can be had cheap at Goodwill.

Man...some people make this more complecated then need be. A drop in temp. with some fresh air, and alittle light should do the trick in most cases, or casings Do you have any hyphal knotting going on on the top surface?

Yes there is noting, but nothing is happening, Please don't confuse me with a newbie, This is the only crop i haven't been able to get pin. I have PERFECT air flow, Perfect Humid, Perfect temp, all controlled via my comp. My set up cost over $1000can, and i have pulled out 5 flushes of potorican, i have Amazonian in there now, This is driving me nuts! Thank for all the help. any other thoughts on why this happened would be greatly appreciated.
