The power of living plants
    #5274018 - 02/07/06 04:07 PM (17 years, 11 months ago)

I it seems to me that mushrooms when fresh are a lot different than when dry ed. This is the case I feel due to them being alive. I feel like when you put a living plant like that it is much more commutative with you. It is more sensitive to how you feel and how it is going to make you feel. The way I feel is that mushrooms feel just like us. They must understand what they do. I really don't think that there are plants that just happen to offer this experience and connect us to the earth the way they do if it wasn't on purpose. I don't know if any of you have read the secret life of plants but it takes about plants feeling emotions and the emotions of others. but I don't feel like a book needs to explain this with things like psychedelic plants around. just looking at plants it seems like they do have conciseness just on a different level. they just exist and go with the flow of the earth completely they don't think about what they are doing they just do it. I think plants should be taken more seriously as living beings and looked at for what they are trying to tell us as whole and individually and not just psychedelic plants but all. just simple watching you can learn a lot.  what do yall think? :mushroom2:

I can relate! I've never read that book. However i'm working on getting a copy. Actually I've been trying to get a copy for the past 4 years!
In anycase I couldn't agree more.
Just take the "Mushroom" in general...
It has an absolutly important job to do with regards to the health of this plant!
I read something once that explained how 2 plants that were grown together (seperate pots)....., when one was taken away for trimming, and overall inspection, the other plant showed some type of impulse as recoreded on a machine. When the plant came back the readings showed that the levels returned to what they once were.
I'm alittle choppy in my memoery, but I'm pretty sure that was the outcome.
I've read many interesting things like this.
However stuff like this I'm affraid doesn't appeal to the majority. Simple put....nobody gives a damn! All you have to do is just look out your window, watch the news, even hold a conversation with one of your friends..and chances are you want be talking about anything to do with this subject.
Oh well...what can you do?

Yea it seems like more people would be into this sort of thing seeing as they spend so much time talking about the plants they hang out with. It just seems like by ignoring the plants they eat and smoke or what ever everyone is just missing so much of the experince they offer.
