There are so many ways to take schrooms. I've only eaten them fresh and do not like the taste. I am interested in new and unique ways. From personal experience what is the best way to consume these things of beauty?

my personal favorite it to boil them up with celestial seasonings rapsberry tea.
boil about a half gallon of water add an eigth of dried shrooms and four tea bags. cover and boil for about 10 to 15 minutes your and three friends can get off this way. enjoy

If you don't like the taste, dry them up, powderize them using a coffee bean grinder found at wallmart for like $10, and then fill them up in gel tabs(I think you can get them at health stores).

We don't eat them for the taste. Just chew them up and wash down with some beer. Thats the best way! *burp*
Making chocolate shroom bars is good too. Just melt down some chocolate bars, add crushed up shrooms and cool in the fridge. You can use different molds. I saw some that were actually made back into the shape of the chocolate bar. They had been rewrapped and given as presents.

My favorite is orange smoothies, but I have also made choco milkshakes with mushrooms added in and blended. We once even mixed a bunch of broken up dried mushrooms into some rocky road ice cream that was slightly melted enough to mix around. That was awesome...But then again rocky road is awesome even with out the mushrooms.

Gel caps are awesome...They're easy to take, easy to transport, and easy to dose with...If you're good, you can get each capsule to weigh about .5 g. (.6 including the capsule) then dosing is eay and figuring out your personal tolerance is eaiser too!!!
You can buy the caps and the filling kit at most health food stores.

my all time fav is to melt white or dark chocolate and when the chocolate is a nice liquid i cover the shrooms (fresh or dried) and then i have chocolate covered mushes, cool.

I like em' just the way they are buddy, dry them out and they have less taste then the freshies. One of my other friends throws them in the good ol' coffe grinder to a powder, then puts it in a bowl with some jam and just gets out the spoon and goes to town.
- Dry em' out and throw em' on a pizza for dinner, throw them on a sub, throw them on any ol' sandwhich. Just eat em!

you can buy empties at vitamin shops, but if you just want to make a few, you can just get any gelcaps from around the house. grab both sides and pull them apart. Dump whatever's in them, fill both sides with your powder and put them back together. it's prett easy.

I like to pulverize them when they are bone dry and mix them with malt and chocolate and milk to make a malt chocolate smoothie. Good for the munchies.
Can you boil them until they sink and make kool aid out of the water? I have always been afraid it would ruin the potency.

Toss a few chunks of ice, a scoop if vanilla ice cream, a scoop of sugar, a cup of OJ, and a handfull of shrooms into a blender, blend, and drink. Almost no shroom taste at all. Works best with fresh ones, but dry is ok as well. Heat will cause some loss of potency... which is why my friend seldom makes teas or cooks with them. Gelcaps are ok, but vege-caps can take a few hours to disolve and multiple caps don't always disolve at the same time... If you cap em, drink lots of water with the caps to help them disolve faster. In all cases, an empty stomache gets the goods into your blood faster. My friend also eats a few pappiya (spelling? an orange fruit) enzyme extract pills to help things digest faster and keep the belly calm. You can find these at any health food store. The bottle usually says something on it about helping digestion.

i put them in a mr coofee pot with a filter.......fill up pot and make tea then i reuse the full coffee picture and pour it back into the top u may need to add a little water...keep doing that over and over until almost clear...then u have almost pure psilocybe...1, 6 oz glass and you are freaking the fuk out(i add tea and sugar)

Making a tea out of them sounds like the way to go. Is there a reduced effect of the high due to psilocybin and/or psilocin loss due to the heat of the water?

yes heat oxidizes psilo, i would recomend against using anything with heat... i mean i know i dont want to knowingly reduce the potency of my shrooms when you make tea thats what you do...

This subject is way over rated. They dont taste that bad at all but yet I see many web pages and bandwith used on how to consume. I just took about 2.4 grams and about 3 ounces of apple juice. Blend for 10 seconds and drink and chew and swallow. 30 minutes later the fun begins.

You can't eat salvia to get same effects, you need to much in ur blood at one short amount of time, plus i think eating it breaks it down.

Grind up dry mushrooms into a fine powder and mix with your vavorite liquor (at least 100 proof) at a ratio of about 5 parts liquor to one part dry shroom per volume. let it sit for about 24 hours, shaking it every so often. Strain, and toss the powder. You can avoid most of the stomach discomfort this way too.

i think you answered your own question. thats fucking nasty unnecessary. just my opinion though; you can go ahead and hock up a bowl of spit to soak your shrooms in. prolly not so much an issue if you chew tobacco huh? *gags*
