I feel the Way things that our going around the world are spinning out of control, I feel that the US government has too much of a "iron Curtain" around the Global politic's, there always in the shadows, We as humans need to band together and just say no to greedy political agenda's that are one sided. The Earth is changing right beneath our noses, catastrophic natural disaster's have increased substaintially, and yet we still just brush it off like it didn't hurt us. Maybe the Earth is at the peak of a cycle, or maybe a dramatic climate change, we won't be sure till it happens. http://www.livescience.com/forcesofnature/041101_disaster_report.html Being a US citizen makes me very proud, but The United States has veered away from it responsibilities. I feel like we are being cheated of our true freedoms and we are only given this society that keeps tabs on us, continuously taxing us more to keep a better eye on us. We need to realize the US Government's true master is the American citizen, if we want we don't have to follow the rules of an oppresive government, we just make a new one. We were once Earth's most prized child, but now we truely have become just a virus, consuming and not giving back, we have burned our bond with earth. Millions die from our planets cries of desperation, We still fight amongst each battling for the petty resources remaining. No more lines and borders. Or maybe Earth is just our Womb and the time will soon come when we break away to the great void. When the time comes to test humans willingness to survive we will be caught off guard. All our technology and intelligence won't be enough. In the end we will all finally know how weak and powerless we are agianst the wraith of the universe, maybe then when we find our primal instinct to survive we might continue on as a species of Human Beings.

Let me say that America is lucky to have people like you. I'm an Australian and I can understand why a lot of countries hate America for their conceeded and sometimes greedy attitudes (personally I have nothing against America myself, and I'm not saying ALL americans are like this, I'm sure G Bush is to blame for a lot of it). I can understand you when you say "The Earth is changing right beneath our noses, catastrophic natural disaster's have increased substaintially, and yet we still just brush it off like it didn't hurt us." Unfortunately this seems to be the case. Hurricanes, Earthquakes, Global Warming, Extreme temperatures - these all seem to be coming extremely quick but everyone seems to just sit on their ass and say "hey someone else will take care of it" well the problem is that 'someone else' is sitting on his ass doing the same thing.
Kinda sad too watch our beautiful world crumble at our expense, i really feel for my descendants to come. Remember the chokes on us.
yeah i used to ponder philosophy like that when I used to smoke pot, I think I got a book on all crazy ideas and philosophy's somewhere. I think I even designed my own society (utopia) lol.
Peace

We're locking up kids sometimes for life for their first drug offence. We have no room in our prisons for rapists and child molesters and murderers cause we're filling them up with these non violent drug offenders." - Steven Duke, Yale Law School on 'Hooked: Illegal Drugs and How They Got That Way' -

i'm definitely in the minority with this opinion, but in my mind, national borders & identities are as bad as organized religion. burn them both, i say, and create a fellowship of man.

there are actually some striking similarities between virus growth patterns and human empire expansionism. we'll never be as tough, as fast, and as amoral as virii, though. and in the losing competition, we create scores of new resistant strains of old virii... *yeahthatsagoodideapeople!*
