Question about tennstud's Hpoo

I plan to get a 5lb bag of the 50/50 mix and a 10lb bag of the prepasteurized substrate. Roughly how many quart jars will 10lbs of poo be productive with? And since the casing layer is only supposed to be 1/4 the thickness of the spawn/substrate layer, will the 5lb bag be enough to cover the 10lbs of hpoo?
I have a pretty large kittly litter pan I was considering using for one bulk grow or I could separate it into aluminum baking pans and incubate them. With 10lbs of poo, which would be more effecient/painless?
This is my first time using poo so I'm trying to get an idea of how much I can do with each weight.

First off, don't use aluminum pans, the myc will eat away at it after awhile. Secondly, I'm not sure how much that will fill, but if you check tenn stud's site it says that a 5lb bag will fill a 12x12 container to a depth of 4". Off the top of my head, i would say that 5lb of casing would be too much for your 10lbs of poo.

for a 10 lb casing use a casing layer of 1/2 inch.

Tennstud's 50/50 mix is NOT a casing layer! It is substrate 50% poo 50% straw. For casing use 50/50 vermiculite and peat.

never go over 2in of casing layer - rule of thumb. so for 5lbs of substrate, simply put a casing layer of 2in or so over it.

^^That's too much casing!

uh, no, 2 inches of substrate for 5 lbs of poo is WAY too much.
You never want to go above an inch, hell i think an inch is too much casing. The most ive ever used was 5/8 and i thought even that was too much. Stick to 1/4-1/2 in and you'll be fine.
