Sometimes you can snipe a near new one on ewBay, for cheap.

But, that is not a bad buy.
(and, new - you know what you are getting)

It will hold 7 quart jars.

Which is a minimum you want a PC to hold, if you PC much.

Yup . That'll work

Check the price on the 18 quart . It holds the same number of jars and may be a little cheaper .

You can find cheaper PCs at walmart, they just aren't on the web site. I bought mine there for 40 dollars, it will do 4 quart jars... don't go so cheap that you're stuck only being able to do pints/half pints. And Agar's right, I spend the better part of a day PCing 12 jars. Plus, cheaper PCs than the one in your link don't have the nifty pressure gauge. If you can afford it, I'd get that one.

They use weights on top of a valve which will vent once a certain pressure is released.

If you're going for the gold  do a search for an All American aa-930. They're around $230, but will do 14 quarts at a time. I know sporeworks.com carries them, several other sponsors probably do as well.
