Straw Cake Tek

Does anyone out there have Mycoteks straw cake tek? There are some sweet pics in the Mushroom Picture forum of shrooms growing on straw cakes. And the grower is very vague on his technique. He claims he got the tek at Myco Tek and there is no such tek available. Can someonehelp me on this one, I'm dying to try to grow Pans and I just don't want to spend the extra time in casing just to risk losing it to contames. Just not my idea of happy shrooming. If sprouting Pans on straw cakes is possible I would love to find out. Anyone out there ever do it and what was your tek?

there is a straw cake tek in the grow section, i just seen it. dont know if its the one from mycotek
