I was reading Wired.com and came across this article:
http://www.wired.com/news/politics/0,1283,35620,00.html
which linked me to:
http://jya.com/ap.htm
So what are your opinions on this?
I thought this kinda fit the philosophy description so i posted it here but feel free to toss it to OTD.

I read that first on Totse.com
Sounds cool, but I don't think it would happen in any of our (earth) lifetimes.

I only got to the part where I found out he wanted to kill people. I find it sick. Not a good idea at all in my opinion.
I agree in one thing though: High political seats should not be so goddam attractive. They should be badly paid, and bring no extras of any kind. This way only people true to their beliefs might take on the job. But then again, they would probably be fanatics, and those aren't too on my (admittedly short) list-of-people-I-trust either...
Why not instead have instantaneous voting over the net about all cases? True democrazy. Sure, it still wouldn't solve the major problem about it: A minority would get their choice, and make life miserable for the rest (if 25%vote for red, and 10% for green, 20% yellow, 15% for orange, 10 for blue and 20 for purple, those 25% would be happy, and the rest 75% would have been ignored...).
Humans will never be able to agree on a perfect form of government (even if one exist, which I doubt)
And by the way, when he's talking about the legality of it all, that noone knows about any criminal acts; that's just playing with semantics.
"... First, this is at least nominally supposed to be a "free country," which should mean that police and other authorities aren't able to punish behavior just because they don't like it."
Hahaha
"Anarchy is not lack of order. Anarchy is lack of ORDERS."
basic knowledge of the primate will tell you that it is our nature to submit to those that are higher up in the hierarchy than you are yourself (that is: someone who could beat your ass). With the massive population of humans it is inevitable that this small-scale structure previously restricted to tribes projects itself and scales itself as our race grows (in both number, complexity and inter-connectivity)
"anyone whose job depends on "crime" has a strong vested interest in maintaining a high level of crime, not eliminating it."
Yup, another product of our overpopulation. As there are more people more ways to survive and gather survival-tickets (money) emerge. The time when every man and woman in their little tribe could go out in the forest and get food is over. Humans prey on humans these days.
"Is this system "out of control"? True, it is out of the "control" of any single individual, but nevertheless it is well within the control of the population as a whole."
If only I had as much trust in general humanity as him...
This whole idea seems to be based on fear of death. Is that a good way to rule? Even if the many ruled the few, as opposed to how it is now. I do not agree
p.s. You may ignore this rambling on the basis that this has been a bad 24 hours, and my body really feels the urge to punch the springs out of my keyboard.
