hi! i was going to purchase some spores, so, i was wondering which shrooms do not need lets say ''extra care'', i mean, which are easy to grow, but have a good effect?
i'm asking cuzz all that info that i find on web doesn't mean much to me, and i prefer first hand experience so, which one's would you reccomend, and why.
thank you all

Well.. assuming you're growing to trip, then just get any psilocybe cubensis mushie you want. Strains don't make that much of a difference, it's really the way you grow them. Just any popular strain, B+, Ecuador, Cambodian, South American, whatever. They're all cubensis; pick the one with the best name.
I suggest you do a lot of reading. Seriously, an assload of reading. If you have a Pressure Cooker [PC], then I suggest you research Liquid Cultures [LC], whole grains (either Wild Bird Seed [WBS] or Rye Berries), the 50/50+ casing tek, and, if you have access to it, horse poo. That is the most beneficial route which will produce the most potent fruit and the most prolific yields. It's rather time consuming, but it's all relatively simple. If you decide to take this route, then you might also want to research the mono/double tub tek. Wronguy has a nice pictorial under "boxes" in the cultivation archive. Good luck.

Cambos are good. They colonize fast and I've always liked how they taste.

This is a question that keeps coming up, but can never be really answered. It is one of the truly subjective questions in the hobby, on which *everyone* will have their own answers.
There are no "bad" strains, and generally each strain is similar in growing parameters and production than any other. Some people prefer pointy capped fruit, which can be found in the Ecuador, Plantasia Mystery, South American, and others. Some prefer strains that colonize and fruit in warmer climates - such as Cambodians and A strain. Some prefer petite fruit (that doesn't necessarily mean less weight per flush than others though!) - such as Mexi-cubs and some Mexican strains. Others prefer very vigorous colonizers - such as the Puerto Ricans (which also have the *fame* of being a quite potent cubensis). But is there one magic strain that will give you lots and lots of really super potent mushrooms in a quick amount of time? No, there's not, plain and simple. Some strains may be judged subjectively by others to be more potent than others, and some strains may be judged to be bigger and produce a heavier weight. But comparing cubensis to cubensis generally, there is not a "super strain" which should be chosen for any particular reason over another.
There is no consensus as to "the" strain to grow, and you won't find one. Some people like redheads, while some prefer brunettes. It's just that subjective.

If you have never grown mushis, the research is going to rank a higher importance than strain selection. The biggest differences you will encounter are going to be the different teks to follow. i.e. pf teks, wbs teks, casing teks, spawn teks, sclerotia teks, martha teks, fc teks, double tub teks, single tub teks, perlite teks, coolmist teks, substrate teks, drying teks, LC teks, syringe teks. So, kick off you're shoes, grab a cold drink and set aside some time for reading. Be sure to utilize the "related thread links" at the bottom of each topic and utilize the search function as well. There are millions of articles here. If you want to search for the best strain, type best + strain in the search box. Have fun.
