hmm, i thot it mattered if they played 5 last season and i could sworn he played at first a bunch last year. Either way he could turn out to be a decent utility man, and i really think that in a 162 game season it wont take long for him to play enough games to be eligible

Yeah, that makes sense now. And he didnt play any games at first base last season. He was hurt a bunch, and Konerko was at 1st. He was the DH between injuries. I just picked him up, 'cause when he WAS healthy last year he hit like, 12 home runs in 16 games.

I have no idea how the roster eligibility shit works, or what players qualify for what position, or how the scoring is worked out....

Actually he hit 12 home runs in 34 games while having a batting average of .219. He also had 26 RBI.
Don't feel bad, I watched damn near every White Sox game last year, so that's required knowledge for me.

yeah, having played both, football is a shitload easier. I'm sure after a few games I'll (hopefully) figure out how to run my team

If the info says 1B he's eligible for 1st. Try putting him there. If the game accepts him at that spot you're good to go with him there. Click on the positions, you'll figure it out.
I've noticed that some people have teams but can't play for whatever reason. I'd be happy to take over their teams if that's possible. Or if anybody wants to drop out.....

I was really pissed about my team for awhile, but I think I can probably make it work. I just need to hope Barry is so full of steroid-rage and hate that he decides to hit 1000 home runs just because he can.

I was not happy with my first selection of santana. I was not allowed in the draft for the first few rounds. But really all in all I am very happy and I got some of the players I targeted anyway. Not to mention the fact that I have moved him already to fill some holes.

Heh. My auto-draft took B. Bonds in like, the second round. WTF? I doubt anyone would have picked him. Definately something screwy about that.
Should be a fun season though. I see some teams who should be worse than me.
Do we NEED 5 starting pitchers?
