What do you mean by this? Especially the "it becomes you" part.

jonathanseagull: read your story. It seems a bit similiar to mine, only in place of feelings, the visuals last for a bit longer

The effect is quite weak today, and I'm confident that they'll go away by Friday (hopefully, since I've just received word I'll be smoking then)

I'll admit the free visuals were fun, but they can become a bit tedious. Don't sweat it

I mean the visuals just take longer and longer to go away each time.
I dont know if I will ever take another hallucinogen because Im at the point where it lasts for a year(Subtle, but always there. I am very sensative now, but at first(years prior) I could take more than most people and there were little after effects(they went away in about a week at first).

There's a downside to everything I suppose

I don't know if I could handle the visuals for a year...they're a pleasant distraction in school, but to see everything as if you're looking through a veil of water would get tiresome

As long as I could sleep, I'm good (that's my only beef with taking these sorts of things)

They taper off eventually. I dont know if mine will ever go away, they already tapered off of a heavy 2 days ayahuasca trip session, and now its going nowhere. Its like being on a very small dose of shrooms all the time. Ive come so far, it has been two years, and all I can think of to do is be happy that it tapered off as much as it did. I dont think its going to get any better than it already has. When I smoke a whole bowl of weed for example, I feel like Im on a gram of shrooms for about 2 days.
There are many reason for why this happened to me to such an extreem, and it has alot to do with having taken about 150-170 trips in my life. That and the fact that I never took hallucinogens for fun, and I was almost ALWAYS alone. It was always fun, but not fun in the way most people hope to enjoy them. It was educational in a fun way, not too much laughter unless I was around other people.
