I cam across this link when educating myself on how hydrogen peroxide works. Apparently, it is an overlooked health aid that has some amazing science behind it. I know that it may not have to do with cultivatio, but since we use H2O2 in cultivation, this may interest you. http://educate-yourself.org/cancer/benefitsofhydrogenperozide17jul03.shtml

Great read! Peroxiding agars/substrates has been very successful and worth learning.

I use it as mouthwash. Great for getting rid of the dreaded morning breath.

Yes, you can use H2O2 as mouthwash. Read the label!
It doesn't taste very good though - I'll warn ya.

"It boils at 152 degrees C and freezes at minus 2 degrees C."
This I found particularly intersting. If the boiling point is that high, it could be used instead of water for people who don't have a pressure cooker, as the only limiting factor is that water boils at 100 C, while the required temperature to kill all contaminants is 120 C.
Experiment, anyone?

This most likely is true for PURE hydrogen peroxide. Most stuff you buy over the counter is only 3% hydrogen peroxide (hair products are 6%) and the rest WATER. Even if you could obtain the pure Hydrogen peroxide I think it would probably be expensive and dangerous to be messing around boiling it on the stove.
Now DEEP FRYING your jars......THERE'S AN IDEA! LOL!!....

haha, I have that article saved to my hard drive, and just refrenced it in another post weird.
I've been drinking it for 9 days now I'm not unhealthy, just wanted to see if I could tell a difference... I haven't felt bad, I've felt pretty good actually, but I can't say I "notice a difference". Not yet at least. Probably only coincidence, but me and a friend were "viewing" friday night, and I was trying to explain how measured breathing really feels good when tripping, and somehow I ended up getting challenged to a breath holding contest. He was gasping for breath at 90 seconds, and I held until 2 minutes, and could have easily kept going, but was worried the shrooms might keep me from properly feeling the danger signs. He's a non-smoker, I've been smoking 18 years. But I haven't timed my breath since I was a kid, plus, I practice controlled breathing every day so it doesn't mean anything, another odd coincidence.
Anyway, yea, it seems like it could be part of why contams are so much more likely indoors. It's worth considering that, even if you're not into peroxide, a very dilute solution would be more "natural" than tap/bottled water.
