the effects might not be QUITE as strong while you're on zoloft.. and I'm not sure about that acid reflux one.
I've eaten mushrooms on SSRI's, it works. and don't think you're missing something because I said it might not be quite as strong. you won't be. it's still a mushroom trip

go into it knowing that there NOTHING you should be scared about.... Just remember, whether you have a good or bad time, you will greatly learn from the experience.

If you need to take Zoloft for some kind of underlying mental condition then maybe you should reconsider triping for right now.

That's a bit of a generalization. It's a case to case basis. I know a number of people who take zoloft, it's overprescribed, like many meds. Heh, they were one of the many companies that got in trouble for their persuasive disorder ad campaigns. Convince them they're broken and sell em the fix.
Anyway, I agree that you should approach with caution. But it isn't a schizophrenia medication. Worst comes to worst, you could have a terrible, depressing, evil night. Get a close friend.

It shouldn't effect you negatively. If you are currently depressed about anything in particular though, then it would be best to not take mushrooms because you will not have a good time. They make you quite extremely emotional.
It's always a good idea to have a close firend that isn't tripping around for the first time just in case it's more than you can handle. They won't be able to do anyhting to end the trip, but they can try to comfort you and at the very least make sure you don't go out in public or possibly hurt yourself somehow.
Just a warning, chances are everything will go great. Have respect for the mushroom and it will show you a world that is beyond beautiful.
