The Lost Mind of Dr. Brain
    #5263664 - 02/04/06 06:51 PM (17 years, 11 months ago)

Does anyone remember that old sierra puzzle game?

I just found a torrent and downloaded it, and man does it bring back some memories.

Back in elementary school we had that game on all of the computers in the classroom of our G.A.T.E. (gifted and talented education) class. Now that I play it again, I remember why. It is a sincerely challenging puzzle game! Even now, at 18 years old and as a college student, I find myself going crosseyed trying to solve some of the puzzles on the hardest setting. I can understand why we were encouraged to play it as children, it can really stretch your snyapses

And, I might add, it's just a great, nostalgic game.

I beleive I downloaded it from The Pirate Bay, if anyone is interested.

Anyone else remember this game? It's great, isn't it?

Not that one, but I LOVED Seirra games. Especially Lords of the Realm 3 and Betrayal in Antara/Krondor

Dr. Quandry's Quest got me hooked. Man those old style puzzle games really hit the spot. They provided so much mystery, it was the shit!

Willy Beamish was another game that it was just plain fucking fun to click and progress. You can't get any simpler than that, but those games were some cornerstones.

Oh man, I'd love that game.

I had a demo in like 1996, haha. Even the girlfriend used to play it she says. Would be much appreciated...

So er... uh...

Nobody here remembers the specific game I mentioned?

I suppose it wasn't as classic as I thought it was. But it's still fun by today's standards, so

Yeah, I seem to be having an off-day. I'm a little hazy today, I guess It's a bit of burnout. Nothing a good weekend of sleep wont solve though.

The file name on Pirate Bay was "The_Lost_Mind_of_Dr_Brain_(PC)". If you don't find it on pirate bay I may have misremembered which site it was on. In which case check Demonoid instead.
