Starting around seven o'clock this evening I started popping torch capsules. I finished off 30 grams at eight o'clock. Now if 25 is an active dose and 30 didn't do a damn thing, then what is the problem? It's 12 minutes after 10 PM now. Should I expect any puking? This whole thing sucks.

Ya, he should probably feel that. I would have felt it long before the 2 hour mark.

How does that one mesc fan's signature go? "Your experiences with a given drug are NOT a measure of that drug's effects..."

30 grams of cactus could have as low as 90mg of mescaline in it. That's not even threshold.
Even if it's medium strength at 1.15% it would only be 345mg which for me is barely noticeable. It would however give at least some results, I doubt if they would be present before the 2 hour mark.

turns out im still on my medicine. this may have had something to do with it. before i start please dont bombard me with your opinions about how it's stupid to do pychedelics with a mental condition. im well aware of the consequences and i try to watch what i do very carefully. my question is how long would anti-pychotics have to be out of your system for a dose not to be affected? is it as easy as not taking the medication the night before you trip? i take 750 mg depakote, 30 mg abilify.
since im posting the question i might as well be prepared for some comments about my situation with taking hallucinations on a mental condition. just give me some feedback on the particular case in question with any flames you might have. thanks

Abilify is relatively new to the market and works in a different way to other atypical antipsychotics.
I have no concrete info on how it may effect mescaline's action, but i think it is safe to say it is likely to reduce or kill effects, as it has a very strong affinity for certain dopamine recptors, as well as an possible affinity for our old friend 5ht-2a. Given the lack of info and novel action, there is a certain risk mixing this drug with psychedelics.
Here is the usual warning about mixing psychedelics with psychotic disorders. I believe that it simply isn't worth the risk. Are you prepared to risk serious relapse for your trip?
Anyway, aripiprazole has a partial agonist action, that is it mimics dopamine to an extent, and thus only partialy blocks the recptors it binds to. Interupting treatment is never advisable, as the drug 'builds' in the system to a steady plasma concentration, which is neccessary for effective treatment as well as reduction in possible side effects. If you don't know enough about your meds to understand its action and metabolism, then you definitaly don't want to be fucking around with it.

My little brother takes depakote as a anti-seziure medication. He's subject to grand maul(no clue how to spell that one) sezuires ever since he lose half of his brain in a pre-natal stroke.
I wouldn't reccomend combining drugs and depakote.
