Thanks :-)
Hmm.. Don't think I have any forum-specific questions at the moment... although I do have a question regarding LSD that you may or may not be able to answer. I'm fairly experienced with mushrooms - cubensis and semilanceata in particular - but I've never dropped acid. I recently came into some LSD tabs (blotter sheet) and I'm just wondering how it might compare to a mushroom trip? I was planning on only taking 1 hit my first time (I read that the dose is anywhere from 30-100 micrograms), although I'm not sure if I will be underwhelmed because of my previous experiences with mushrooms.

Well to be completely honest I was an LSD virgin until last saturday when a friend and I each took a .25" hit.
I found that I was much more full of energy, mushrooms tend to make me tired, full on body tired and upset my tummy when I run around. But this last weekend we had an unreal amount of energy and felt no nausea at all. But wait until some more experienced folks come on and give some of their opinions

Thanks kit_kat :-)
re: Ryan - Yeah, I've never really had much problems with nausea from mushrooms, but it's good to know that LSD is less likely to cause any. I remember back in high school when I chugged an 8oz bottle of robitussin (not one of my better moments) - oh man, I've never wanted to puke so bad from a drug.
I'm really kind of interested in how the visuals compare. I really like the way colours are so vibrant and intense when tripping on mushrooms - but I've heard that LSD is less like that. A friend of mine compared it to a cartoon - although after tripping on Salvia I don't think anything can be quite as 2D and cartoonish as that.

Our trip was not very visual actually, it was a low dose, there was a definite sharpness and increase in color intesity. It was a sunny day, the snow was a cool three feet deep and untouched, the wind was moving all day which was beautiful to watch in the trees, the snow blowing on us, ahhh damn, it was a great time. I will post a report if anyone cares in the appropriate forum.
I myself have tried DXM once before with a low dose, I never really got much effects from it, although during the experience I was grinding my lower teeth into the back of my uppers. I did this for like the next month, I would catch myself and stop, sometimes I still do it though

yeah, DXM is not very exciting to me... especially when I started feeling overwhelmingly itchy all over my back, heh.
you should definitely post a trip report! those are a lot of fun to read.
